I saw this today.... and just HAD to buy it..... it reminds me of a cool crisp glacier, the fluffyness almost makes it look like tiny icicle's all over you.... what better way to dress when it starts to warm up... making you cooler than cool!!! I love it... as does my boyfriend.

I have been crying all afternoon from this wonderful, wonderful album... so many good songs to have a cry to! dont you just love a sunny Sunday to have a good cry along to sad songs??? I do!!

Wow for Wine!

Today I received my monthly case of wine from Virgin Wines. It came with a handy little recipe book which helped me know what to do with 12 whole bottles of wine! There are so many options; coq au vin, mulled wine AND risotto, wow! It really inspired me to get cooking!

Wow so I got a email from blogspot the other day saying that we have accumulated at least 4 hits on this blog in the space of a year. I think we can give ourselves a hearty a pat on the back for such a wonderful job well done. Clearly we are all doing something right and long may it continue. These are just words, but if they inspire just one person then its all been worth it. (but we inspired 4!!! eeek!!!)

I realize 2011 is in full swing! I've been so freaking busy over the past few weeks there really has been no time for blogging. You know how it is , Christmas festivities, New Year madness..ahhh..crazy crazy crazy!!! There is one great way to kick back that I have been doing quite a lot of recently and that reading. My fiance got me a great book called What's wrong with My snake? 

It's literally the greatest book ever and takes you through all kinds of snake related issues in a sensible and informative fashion. If you ever get a snake - I must insist you get this book. I don't have a snake but I'm thinking about getting one just so I can really connect with this book on a much deeper level. hmm...Something to think about anyway.

So! I bet your dying to hear my New Years Resolutions - well let me put you out of your misery..

1. To moisturise every day

2. To go completely organic

3. Limit my takeaways

4. Get a hook instead of a hand (like abu! ;))

Art Is Pain

I've been on a journey of self discovery recently. Its almost tangible...yet so delicate it could collapse at any given time. You see, I'm making a centre piece. Made of cheese.... and Im calling it Cheesus.

The preparation has been immense, not too mention costly. The painful drudgery of the plastic baby selection has been at best - repetitious. The ecomony cheese slices form Sainsburys - unspeakable.

However I know that this is all for a higher power - the cheeseboard. No cheeseboard at Christmas would ever be complete without my vision. Thats why Art is Pain - and Im ready to be flogged into the New Year.
