Art Is Pain

I've been on a journey of self discovery recently. Its almost tangible...yet so delicate it could collapse at any given time. You see, I'm making a centre piece. Made of cheese.... and Im calling it Cheesus.

The preparation has been immense, not too mention costly. The painful drudgery of the plastic baby selection has been at best - repetitious. The ecomony cheese slices form Sainsburys - unspeakable.

However I know that this is all for a higher power - the cheeseboard. No cheeseboard at Christmas would ever be complete without my vision. Thats why Art is Pain - and Im ready to be flogged into the New Year.

Art

This image by a photographer I came across recently really moves me.... the lines are so powerful, cutting right across the image leading your eye right to the drain and across to the little piece of green moss / grass / weed. Its a one off - but after speaking to the photographer - they said they might be able to do another just like it. Today is brilliant.

muffs

Muffs are a great idea for this cold weather... because if you find yourself out in a tunic without pockets (although i try dreadfully hard not to do this, because we all know how i love a tunic with pockets) a good old muff can keep my hands warm!

English

So today I have been thinking of words that are spelt the same - but prounounced / mean totally different things... this is what I have come up with;

 reading Reading
Read  Read
Console Console
Lead Lead
Bear Bear
Sow Sow
Close Close
Contract Contract
Desert Desert
Polish Polish
Tear Tear
and my fav.... which has 5.....
Bow Bow Bow Bow Bow

I shall let you know if I think of more.
