Snow In London

It's been snowing in London.  I watched out of my window last night as the little cotton wool like flakes fell from the sky and drifted gentley onto the road settling to make at least half a centre meter of snow of the ground when I woke up in the morning.

I love it when it snows.  It gives me the chance to stay in doors and do nothing apart from reflect on recent events gone by.  Like my Drs appointment and Maps.

Today as it was snowing, I decided to stay in bed a little later than normal and then go to work.  It was nice and warm in bed.  When I got up, I had a shower, then got out of the shower.  I then walked into my bedroom and got dressed, deciding that layering would be best to keep out the cold weather.

Firstly I put on my underwear,  Then some thermals, then a vest and tights (my boyfriend loves me in tights) then I put on a tees -shirt, leggings socks and boots and on my top half, a tunic (with no pockets, which made me a little whimsical as I do love pockets on a tunic)

When I got dressed, I put my coat on and then a scarf and a hat.  I put my bag on my shoulder and I was ready to leave.  I opened the door to my flat and walked out, walked down the stairs and then opened the front front door and walked outside into the snowy grotto that is Walthamstow!

It was so beautiful.  I glided from my front door all the way to the station singing Good Morning to neighbors as I walked by.

Ah, I Do Love London When It Snows
